Except for the name of the movie... possibly everything has been done right! the movie is a good clean "theatre comedy" comedy type entertainment. in fact I had my stomach aching due to laughter by watching a movie after a long long time...the movie does not fry your bheja, is like a good short story written for the sheer joy of storytelling and nothing else... as a cinema, it cud easily float bet the craftiness of theatre and commercial success of a multiplex movie...
Acting is above par.. one just canr miss the adept handling of detailed nuances for reinforcing a character personality thru small actions... vinay of course stands out and ranvir, in his small role, does more than anybody cud do, to the effect that some ppl come out of the theatre believing that ranvir did have a big part in it... rajat kapoor plays his role with ease and all the actors (milind soman, saarika etc) seem suitably utilised and befitting the plot... all on all... no casting/acting loopholes...
The emotional connect, that possibly a nice o’henry story creates with his reader, has been ahieved with ease.. and the movie is easy on mind and heart...its not a bhejaless movie ala david dhawan/salman types (btw.. salman is the most mindless actos ever! more on him will never be cause I wont ever watch his movie to review it...)a GRT one time watch... don missdirectorial debut! sagar ballari... good show!!
