BHIM-Bharat Interface For Money ( based on UPI)
What Is UPI?
Unified payment interface allows transfer of money from one bank to another bank, by using account numner, name and IFSC code from your smart phone.
For the same it doesnt require to have net banking.
BHIM app a UPI based banking method launched by govt.of India to encourage online cash transfers & to promote digital banking in India.
There is no charges for using this app, you can transfer 10, 000/- at once in a account and daily limit of transfer is 24, 000/-.
How to get it?
If you are using a smart phone, in Android go to play store and download it from there, for I phone user get it from app store.
How to start?
Download it, put your mobile number, get an OTP and start.
Choose your bank as most prominent banks are registered there, once you choose the bank having your updated mobile number, you will see your account details there.
Using your debit card last 6 digit and expiry credentials you can generate a password, by using that you can transfer money from your account to another account.
You can also check your account balance from there.
problem with this app is sometimes it becomes slow, you try but fails and that continues for longer.
It could be useful if the server will be updated, otherwise more people will be using and more banks will be added than it might become too slow.
As of now have it, who knows it might work occasionally for you.
