I just visited Bhimashankar Wildlife Santury in order to have a field visit for our project. In summers too its evergreen and polution free. The aproach road from pune is some what not maintained properly by the PMC other wise its a great tourist attraction place. Whiile travelling from Pune to Bhimashankar you may also cime accros a dam reservior like lake which is also a great place for clicking photos. In the scantury you may see the board erected describing the species found neary by during evening and night time. Only a little problem which arises here is parking as space is less as its a mountain. When you enter the scantury you have to pay a little amount of 20 Rs as scantury fees which is less. There are neary by hotels and garden restraunts located near the scantury as well a huge resort is also present on the uphill side.
