The story of this movie is all about how a kid approaches a ghost and takes him down by his horns. Bhootnath is a evil spirit who scares the hell out of everyone as there is a reason that is making him do this. The reason is unknown but he never let people settle down and scared them even before they plan to settle.
Somehow one family try to stay in that house and then starts the series of ghost and it’s scary tale. Somehow I do feel that Bhootnath inspite being a horror genre movie turns out to be a laughter ride. You would expect the movie to be scary and the get up that AB is in you would be in for a nightmare but it turns to be the other way round. He is the so called friendly neighborhood ghost.
The plot is a good and when it comes to acting the child has acted really well and so did AB.
Shahrukh appears for a brief time on screen. Juhi chawla also acts descently. But the kid I must say has acted well.
Sound Track isn’t that good and it can be ignored as the plot and cast performance was good.
Cinematography was average and it could do much better.
I would say that inspite failing in the sound track and cinematography department this movie has garnered people attention. A one time watch surely and maybe can be watched a couple of times more.
