I’ve been living in Bhopal for almost 12 years now, so I am eligible to write a review for Bhopal.
I will break down this review in several parts like Accessibility, Local sightseeing, Closeby tourist places, Hotels etc.
Now,
Firstly I would like to tell you that Bhopal is named the second most cleanest city of India.
- Accessibility:
Bhopal being the capital of Madhya Pradesh has a great connectivity with other cities whether you want to travel by bus, train or flight. Bhopal has an international airport, interstate bus terminus and two railway stations as well.
- Local sightseeing:
For the local sightseeing you can visit places like, SHAURYA SMARAK, it is a war memorial and is very knowledgeable and interesting to see. You can also go to LAKE VIEW, its street alongside the lake, it has a boating club, restaurant and many fun activites as well. Bhopal has many dams as well which will be worth a trip. You should also visit VAN VIHAAR NATIONAL PARK.
- Close by Tourist places:
If you want to visit close by tourist places like 40-50kms away then you can visit 1. BHIMBETHKA 2. SANCHI STUPA 3. MAHADEV PAANI etc.
4.Hotels/ Accommodation:
Bhopal has many hotels for every budget, like if you have a large budget then you can stay in COURTYARD MARRIOT, NOOR-us-SABAH PALACE, JAHANUMA PALACE, HOTEL IMPERIAL SABRE. But is you do not have a high budget then you will find several hotels in every location.
- Safety.
As far as safety is concerned, Bhopal is a very safe city for ladies and there will be no problem in late night drives.
