Unlike many others, I actually have no objection to the business concept of Bid20.com. Buy bidding credits and bid for products you want to buy. It wasn’t a bad way for the company to make money. However, at some point, they decided to hand over day-to-day management of their only asset (the customer) to thugs. Here’s what happened to when I decided to refer five friends for five extra bidding credits. A month later, when I did not receive any credit, I followed up through the Web site. No response. Then, I e-mailed them to figure out what went wrong. The Bid20 team clearly refused to acknowledge any of my claims! A simple explanation like the information I submitted never went through, or the mix up was inadvertent and they are sorry for it, would have worked. But why make up with a customer when you can make the irate, right? That is what the staff did best.
My advice to you is, if you are thinking of experimenting with online bidding in India, there is still some waiting time before there are service providers trustworthy and customer-friendly enough. Stay as far away from Bid20 as you can!

I received a mailer from Bid20 in December 2009 asking me to recommend 5 friends. In exchange for recommending friends before December 25, 2009, I should have received credit for 5 bids. Unfortunately, I have received no such credit. Following this, I followed up through the Web site to ask for an update. Again, there was no response from your company. It makes me wonder if you have any consideration for customers at all, or are being simply incompetent.
