The Big Bazaar outlet in Tarnaka is horribly poor in customer service. For starters, the boys and girls who work in the shop are either school dropouts or are have never been taught elementary communication skills and salesmanship.
The other day, all I wanted to find out was if Anchor Stitching Kit was available. I thought I had hit the jack- pot when I was told in the cellar that it was available on Level 1. Alas, my joy was short-lived. I was sent from one floor to another, right up to the hotel on the top floor.
When my frustration was getting visible, one kind looking ` boy’(to me most appeared to be minors) was generous enough to find out from the boss. I was told that it was not available.
Imagine my frustration for I had spent a cool 40 minutes for nothing. The torture continued when I went to collect my bag that I had deposited in the counter. To make the shocking experience complete, the lady at the counter was busy attending to one particular customer who came from inside. Subsequently, I was told that it also served as the exchange counter! Nothing could be more preposterous.
Big bazaar at Tarnaka, according to me is a destination no sane person should take.
