(UPDATE ON 14-05-2007: they took it BACK and gave 1.5ton and adjusted my 1ton paid price)

purchased a 1Ton window, Koryo Air conditioner from BIg Bazaar, Allahabad, to my shock their INstallation team kept on lieing on date on time for installation.
after 5 days of mis-behaving on phone, One fine day they did came and fitted that piece of JUNK on my window, and left away cause their was no Electricity for Testing, poor Uttar pradesh has minimum 6 hours of power cut,
2nd visit from Guys was 2 days later when this A.C. started. they took their Fee, with Rs.50/ extra and didnt gave a reciept of this amount and went away.
Now comes the HORROR.
A.C. Has all the features except their Coolings is horrible, Whole night was wasted in sweat, room was cooler when we had the desert cooler instead of this JUNK A.C.
Since then ive visited big bazaar for complaining, and 2 times their support engineer diched, he says will comes at 7P.M. then he delibrately doesnt pics my phone, next morning at 9:30 he says would visit in a hour, NO WAY, They are still absconding.
Yesterday again I visited Big Bazaar, again I was taken to a person who seems to be sales head, he promised that he gets fixed up by morning, will repaid or change or if I pay the difference he might get the A.C. replaced to any other higher model, but all promises are so very disappointing.
Ive the bills with me, and Iam now again going to big bazaar, to ask whats next, else ill be asking my lawyer friend to get this in knowledge of "COSUMER FORUM".
Now iam FED UP WITH THIS JUNK A.C., IAM SO STUPID I ignored all the brands and took this stupid A.C. on a friends recomendation, I think my friend doesnt know how much a room A.C. can or shall cool.

thanks you to all read this experience of mine.
Yesterday evening their support guy came to my place and said your Room is bigger and needs(1.5TON), earlier the same guy convinced me for 1Ton.
this is stupid, now he wanted me to contact BB to get it upgraded, earlier too, all their sales staff agreed that they will upgrade if I pay the difference amount in the 1.5 ton A.C. but today ALL OF
THOSE guys pointed me to some executive who POINT BLANK DENIED THE UPGRADE.
This is criminal of them do business such ways, they are making false promise while selling the goods, earlier they did said if you are not satisfied with KORYO, take any available from the SHELF, but this will not happen.
Now when I told that executive of all these promises his face become PALE, he said ill send a senior techician to examine the situation, they are keep on delaying this issue.
For all those who think iam newbie in having a A.C., I already owned 3 A.C. at my place. and made this STUPID DECISION.
1).Godrej.(1.5Window)
2)Samsung.(1.5 window)
3) ONIDA.(1.0split)
4) This koryo.(my biggest mistake)
my one ton onida is best of all split units ive recently seen on 10x10 dimension room.
couple of hours back their installation guys came and asked about the upgrade, and they said only BB can send you a new A.C. and we can swap it with their order, now the BB guy is not picking up my phone call, ill be visiting them after my office hours.
Yesterday my wife commented: "Lagta hai Yahan ki Sidhiyan naaptey naaptey hum Buddhey ho jayengey"(seems well grow old in keep visiting Big Bazaar, pursuing the issue)

Hi,
I dont know what happened in there at Big Bazaar internal Management, A staff member called up yesterday and asked me to contact the service station and get the A.C. Removed from my place so they can REPLACE IT, ** I was so happy to hear this, and this time someone from Bangalore office was monitoring this, as told by some of their sales staff.
I took the A.C. in my car directly to Big Bazaar, and to my surprise they took it BACK without even a single sign of ignorance or what ever, I dediced to buy a split unit but my tech assistant said window would be more suited for the room this is needed.
I paid the Difference and Now the brand new model of KORYO 1.5Ton, window A.C. is at my place, waiting for another few hours to get it installed.
Iam yet to understand what made them change the unit after so many days.
Koryo has introduced a new JET feature which cools at much faster speed for 15 minutes(if set temp. is not attained) to speed up the cooling, lets hope this works great, waiting with my fingers crossed.
