This is the one I had in Big Bazaar, Old Madras Road. I went there to purchase some groceries. The display with prices are fine, which I selected the products on.
When I came to the billing counter, the prices are different. I asked them why the difference. He called his supervisor and I was made to wait 20 minutes at the billing counter. When I said, it sgetting delayed, they told me to leave if I dont want the product. This is the bad comment I heard from their supervisor. I was surprised to hear that. Wanted to go to the customer care desk and complaint on him but there was no badge. Seeing my frustration, he went away. Somebody returned in his place and told that the display is wrong and hence the price difference.
Whenever you go to any Big Bazaar, please make sure you have the list with you, make a note of the prices that they display and compare them at the ones in the receipt. Any issues, just tell them that you dont want it. Then immediately, they come down and reverse the change. The supervisor changes the bills and you will get the amount back.
The other experience I had is today. They have started ORIGINAL IMPORTED MALL, where the goods are imported from Dubai. The same goods are also available in TOTAL, Madivala. They are charging very less compared to BiG Bazaar.
I request you not to purchase these from Big Bazaar.
