I am addressing this complaint to both of you the retailer and the manufacturer.
The simple reason being the action of the retailer intentionally or accidentally damages the producers image in addition to irreversibly damaging their own reputation.
26 june 2013 we purchased a kilo of thick beater rice at a Big Bazaar outlet nearby.
One of the items- now I suspect the thick beaten rice- did not scan and the cashier entered the item number manually.
After returning home out of curiosity we checked the price. We were shocked to discover the item was overpriced by 10rs over the MRP printed on the packet.
Later in conversation with other customers of Big Bazaar we discovered that this is a regular, frequent, criminal, practice by Big Bazaar. If any customer brings it to the managements notice, profuse apologies are tendered but no MONEY IS REFUNDED.
Only equivalent credit is given.It is a grossly reprehensible practice that should be prosecuted by the appropriate authorities. Customers beware.
