I was a frequent visitor of their Big Bazaar Lower parel branch. Being in a mall, it was a must visit place for grocery shopping after all the cloth and shoe shopping in the mall. They have a good collection of everything in this particular outlet.
My experience turned bitter on two occasions after which I completely refrain from entering Big Bazaar. The first instance was when I got tempted to buy a Salwar Suit material. I really liked the soft grey colour with a beautiful machine work done on it which looked like authentic Chikankari work. For the price of Rs.999 it was a bargain. I immediately purchased it. On giving it to my tailor for stitching, je mentiined the quantity of the cloth is less! Thats when I realised how does Big Bazaar lower the costs of such dress materials by decreasing the quantity given on each. Anyways, .I got it stitched and the kurta could barely reach my knee:/
The other instance was when I bought 2 nighties for my mom. Both the nighties had a patchwork cleverly hidden on its inner stitching. They use cheap, old material and revamp it a bit to sell it to customers. I was shocked and felt cheated. On complaining, the customer service executive blamed me, that I mustve torn and re-stitched it. Thats was it, for me to leave Big Bazaar as a customer permanently!
Last Word: Definitely Not Recommending!
