I am a profit club card holder of big bazaar, as must be scores of you all.
After the recent demonetisation, I received a message from big bazaar informing that the next months limit of Rs.1000 has been added to my current months balance i.e. I could purchase products for an additional amount which I thought was very thoughtful and customer friendly step pf Big Bazaar.
Imagine my shock, dismay and surprise at the check out when I was RUDELY informed that the amount had not been credited and there was no explanation for the same same and i was free to call up the customer service number with the result that I had to remove half the items from my cart.
The customer service number was more of dis service number in as much as I was again rudely informed that they were in the process of sending out messages to inform all and sundry that the advance/added amount was not applicable upon cards more than 9 months old (even though I still had 3 months left in my card) and they had forgotten to send the message to the card holders earlier.
As such, friends, beware of the customer unfriendly tactics of Big Bazaar.
