This is about my experience at big bazar old madras road on 10th sep. Many a times I have found good deals at there malls but this time they showed the true colurs of how even they are no good when it comes to issuing mis leading advertisements to lure customers to their malls and then just back off and speak rudely.
This saturday when I walked in at the gate they were distributing pamplets which said "block buster offer" wherein on purchase of 10000 and above one gets a dinner set and on purchase of 5000 and above one gets a duffle bag free during the offer period of 6th - 14th Sep.
I made two purchases, one for 10, 000 and other for 5000. For the first purchase I got the free offfer but for the other, they simply said the offer has been withdrawn. When asked then why are they distributing pamplets which says there are free gifts for purchase above 5000, the answer was, " we have the right to withdraw the offer whenever we like". Let me mention here that, in the pamplet it has no where been mentioned that the offer can be withdrawn anytime or its valid till stocks last.
In the whole purchase, I had made a excess purchase of 2000 just to become eligible for the other offer and ended up spending more than 4 hours at there mall to get billed and arguing for the offer.
I WOULD LIKE TO WARN ALL BE CAREFUL WHEN GOING TO BIG BAZAAR ON THE BASIS OF ADVERTISEMENTS THEY HAVE PUT UP.
Again today I have seen one more interesting thing, the duffle bag which was given free with purchase of 5000 was claimed to be worth 899 and today they have published that on purchase of certain value the same bag which is " worth 1799" is being offered free.
