This happened the 2nd time with me and if it happens again I am going to blacklist this theatre and will never go there again.
Ok..so here goes.... I bought a movie ticket for me and my wife( ajab prem ki gazab kahani...dont watch it, its very boring and insensible) for the 10:30 p.m show. I was getting late so I drove like a maniac and reached 5 minutes late...
I was expecting the ticket counter to be empty assuming that all the 10:30 shows must have started and people must be in already enjoying the show.... but NO, there was a big queue at the counter ...reason?? No one knows...there was complete mis management at the counter...I went to the internet ticket counter and expected to get a preferential treatment as I had paid extra....
But to my horror there was no one at the counter... suddenly a lady ahead of me who also had booked tickets via internet started getting angry coz she thought that the show must have begun and here these guys are not even there at the counter, so she started yelling and shouting and after some time one guy came at the counter and started giving the tickets without even apologising for being late..... anyways... my turn came , got my ticket and ran with my wife in to the hall - a good 15 minutes late...we were very sad to have missed the beginning but when we reached inside...we were happy .....want to know why??
BECAUSE THE SHOW HAD NOT STARTED YET..... I didnt know whether to be happy or angry about this.... but soon I got the answer - that I should be angry and very pissed off .... I sat on my seat and then for another 20 minutes I was just watching Advertisements..... GRRRRRRR..... I drove like a maniac risking everyone’s life to come and watch ADS????/ I AM GONNA KILL THESE GUYS.....
The show finally started 35 minutes after the scheduled time......after all this ....the movie was also a flop ( read my review about the movie).... during the intermission, the sales guys of the theatre came in with food , trying to sell them and they continued even after the movie started....obstructing the view..... ARRGGGHHHH.....
OK, before that.....the intermission also went on for a good 15 minutes... reason?? ADVERTISEMENTS !!!! And this happened the 2nd time with me in this theatre, if it happens again.... I am not going there ever again.... WOULD YOU???? Did this happen with you also??? I wonder if other theatres also are doing this??? ( PVRs, ADLABS, Inox, etc) . Let me know.
