Pathetic Customer service, pathetic activation team and overall a pathetic expirience. I bought the connection last december. paid for one yr max plan in advance as a good offer was going on.
the activation team was bad. they were ready to run down my house to install the dish. I regret till date as that time I could have refused to get the dish installed and got my money back. but then I helped those guys to install the dish.
for 2 months things were go, I would not say good as the reception was not that great when compared to tata sky.
one fine evening the channel I was watching went off air with a message subscribe to see the channel. I thought may be due to some weather problem this might have happened. I showed my patience and waited for 1 hr. then I called the customer care and they told me that I have degraded my plan from max plan to a lessor value plan.
according to them I had requested the change which I didnt, neither did my spouse. I still kept my calm and lodged a complaint.
its been 6 months of giving them calls for an answer but no one knows what happens. they have my cheque details as I had paid by cheque. they know I have paid for the max plan but say I have changed my plan.
in that case I requested them to change my plan again to max plan, for which they take the call but never upgrade it.
so I told them to return the balance money but that too they are not able to do.
they put down the phone or tell us to wait for ages.
when I tell my friends about this they tell me reliance adag is know for this. mukesh group is better.
so now after paying for all the channels and 40 movies I am getting to see lesser channels.
going to consumer court is an idea I pondered but who has the time. and moreover now I have given up on reliance.
I am writing here so that no one goes for the same kind of exp. go for any other service but never for big tv. it is really pathetic.
