Have read the reviews written by others. Believe me, before reading it, I thought Im the only unfortunate one to face loads of issues with Big TV. But I was surprised to see that there are loads of people out there facing similar or worse problems.
This joy ride started on 30th Aug when I got a message for getting Big TV installed. When I called that number, it was busy. But I got a call in the next few minutes. The person who called told me to keep the Cash ready and told the STB would be delivered the next day. This was done on time. The rep who came to delier the STB promised the connection would be done the same day.
I did not receive any call/information that day after spoiling my weekly off, waiting for someone to come and install the Dish. Tried calling the Customer Service next day but that was of no use. Tried to call the sales person who sold me the STB but he did not pick the phone.
This was just the beginning. Since that day, I call up Big TV customer service and waste 1 hour on a daily basis. Ive talked to their Supervisors Jaseera, Surojit and another female who was shouting on me(last thing that you expect from customer service).
Also, after repeted attemps, managed to talk to their Manager - Pradeep who was really pleasant to talk to but later disconnected my call. But I think, he definitely tried to work on my issue since I got call from someone named Vasu yesterday immediately after that. This guy promised that the installation would be done yesterday by 4. Im still waiting for that 4 to come.
Is there anyone who is looking into the services being provided by Big TV? All they are doing is making false promises and committments. I know for a fact that these issues would be resolved in 2-3 months time since Ive still not lost faith in the Company - Reliance, one of the few Indian Companies that make us feel proud. But, I think they need to understand- First Impression is the Lasting Impression. And these guys have completely lost it.
