No response to repair request

Well, I have emailed them, telephoned them (most of the time their network is busy), have the complaint number and was told that my complaint would be handled in a week, but it’s been more than a month and they fail to respond. My dish is not working properly; it’s rusted.

I was told they’ll replace it since they didn’t have a new one at the time of installing. They haven’t replaced it. It continues to rust more in the rain. And well, the channels are not clear with all the blurry and wavy lines.

I was ditched by Reliance even before when I had chosen their telephone service, and they had had overcharged me after which I had discontinued their service. They make false calls to threaten you as well. But anyways, now Big TV is gonna be the same in case of efficiency and fair policies, really?

They were pretty quick in responding to everything in the beginning but now their service can longer be considered satisfactory. I’d recommend Big TV only because it offers World Movies channel, and that’s why I got it in the first place.I hope they respond to my complaint in about another year when my warranty expires, lol.

UPDATE: Their customer care through email will respond to your queries after about two months by which you might have already forgotten about the complaint. Their customer care through phone continues to speak only the regional language, no matter if you select Hindi, your regional language, or English!

They never even notify you about new channels added to plan of same cost, and you end up paying the same for less channels. I found this out once and immediately got my plan changed to the new plan with more channels at the same price.

Another problem that BIG TV often has is interruption in service due to rains. And the WORST thing is some channels have annoying subtitles. Don’t get me wrong, I like subtitles when I can’t understand the spoken language. But what’s the point of having subtitles in the language same as the spoken language? That is just plain weird and annoying!
