All the Hype about BIG TV
Been reading about the latest venture of Reliance, their
foray into the DTH industry is known as BIG TV. Now I know reliance does it big
but then I was just wondering do we need one more DTH service? We have already
have TATA sky and the DISH tv services, though not upto the mark, I feel they
serve the purpose. I wonder why reliance is just following the pack and joining
DTH services competition. Agreed, they managed to bring about a revolution in
the mobile phone market by thrashing the competitors with low call rates. I
don’t think that kind of strategy can be used in the DTH services market as I
feel more then the price people would be looking for quality. After all I would
love to go home and watch the India Pak match or the daily diet of Serials
uninterrupted…Period!
