I bought multiple connections of reliance big tv 2 yeas back. Now I am not watching one connection and need only one connection. So I called their customer care toll free number and requested them to disconnect one connection so that my recharge amount doesn’t get adjusted in both the connections as I am watching only one connection. But the customer care executive told me that there is no such procedure and multiple connection cant be changed to single connection.
I called them twice and even talked to their seniors but he also told me that it cant be changed to single connection and there is no such information available to them. This means the customer is bound to pay for two connections even if he is not watching one of the connection. This is clearly mono politic and unfair trade practice. I have written to them and if they didn’t respond positively I am going to file a case in consumer court against the company. My connection nos are - 200868169413 and 200572405980. I want to disconnect 200868169413. Besides this problem, their setbox is also very slow, you press the remote control button and wait for the signal to reach there for changing the channel, the navigation is very very slow, I told my problem to the cc but they do not have any solution for this problem too.
