I have two connections (Tata Sky and Reliance Big TV ) so I guess I should be the best person to write a review on cable operators....
Its just 5 minutes since I got off the phone talking to a Reliance big tv customer care representative (200601850931) and I realized that they had more hidden news waiting for me. It seems once you subscribe for a monthly channel if it belongs to some special categories you are locked in for three months.
I cant think of one reason why they would do this other than to cheat for money. In my case I wanted to watch the the IPL which was for a month and then stop watching which would have worked very comfortably in Tata Sky but look at the mess I got into. I now need to watch the Max which is not a channel that would be useful for me and they didnt inform me of such a lock in period when I started.
I wonder if this would amount to something I can take to consumer protection but my info for everyone out there is --- Stick to Tata Sky
