My husband was getting Reliance Big TV from office as diwali gift and we were very happy as the installation charges and one year subscription was free. The installation and activation did not take much time and we were very happy to get this as a gift.
Soon, our happiness became nightmare. One dreadful night, when it was raining heavily, the connection went off.We left the matter unattended as we were pretty sure to get back the connection automatically when the rain stopped. Alas, our predictions were very wrong and we had to call the customer care. Now the ordeal started.It was not before 3 days our call was answered. That too, the toll free number did not work and we had to call the Bombay number to get connected to an agent. After the call they promised to send the agent which they did and our connection was restored.I thought that this was the end of it and I can relax now.
But there was something bigger waiting. On the 21st of August my subscription was getting over and I had the "free" coupons so I decided to recharge and also change my plan. Little did I knew that this will lead to sleepless nights.I recharged and changed the plan much before the due date but still my TV was showing the old plan and the old recharge date.I asked them about this but they said that it’ll change automatically on 21st August.But. the connection went off automatically on 21st midnight.After this followed a dreadful series of calling the customer care, getting the agent and explaining them the problem. Everytime I called, and got connected, they said they will refresh but nothing happened.:(It was not before 100s of calls and 5 days the connection came back. Now my plan is showing its expiry date in November inspite of filling it for 6 months. I am trying to gather all my strength to call the customer care and fix this problem but I don’t want another series of sleepless nights. Hopefully I will call them today. Please pray for me that this problem gets fixed without much hassle(ya. we should think positive even when there is no hope)
