Never go for it

Reliance is the no one company in taking your money and giving false promise and never follow any rules and regulation. Once you are in their trap you had it.

I took the connection expecting to be a better quality picture, BUT IT IS NOT

At the time of connection the first set top box given was not working, even after several interactions I could not get a new set top box, instead I got a second hand one. At that time there version was that set top box belong to them and we are paying rentals

After exactly warranty is over the set top box packed up. I had Rs 1000 balance in my a/c.

If you call the customer care, for a problem it is a must that you should have a full day available with you

The questions start from your details to several circus to be done for STB and most of the time by the time the your details are told the line will disconnect, they have some mechanism like that.

Now finally after 2 to 3 days try I could book the complaint, and some one come and did some check and went, he replaced the STB,

Tv was working, suddenly next day my a/c got deactivated this happened on 15th May 20, 2010, when I checked my balance the Rs 1000 which was there has disappeared, I have no clue why?

After several calls to the call centre I came to understand the SCAM. The old set top box which he as given again as a replacement I need to PAY Rs 800 + there is a service charge of Rs 175?

There is no warranty again, if the repaired one what they give pack again I need to pay another 800/?

They say that the STB belong to them and we are paying rent. Then why should I pay Rs 800? And is there is no necessity to inform me before taking away my money and disabling my account.

If Rs 800 to be paid it is better to take a new connection with one year free available which should have costed me less than that. Now if I disconnect then they will take back all their equipment, and the if there is no refund of any money even if balance is there in a/c

On 20th may I am sitting with out tv, I decided to forgo the Rs 1000/ Reliance pick pocket and go for DTH. I am surprised to see that there is no law in India to control this, if we wanted to go to consumer forum we are left with no records of what so ever.
