On 29th June I placed order for fresh water fish through Bigbasket, the price of fish items in cart were charged twice the retail market price . Still thinking that a branded Bigbasket will deliver quality food items hence didnt mind placing order. But to my dismay the fish delivered smelled rotten and stale . I immediately called customer care but it got disconnected in midst . During the disconnected call I could communicate the issue and while the customer care person put my call on hold it got disconnected. Later I sent an email to bigbasket customer care but havent received any response so far. This shows how online shopping companies like BigBasket functions . Whilst they are spending on brand endorsements their service quality is highly degraded with no followups on customer complains. Through this I would like to appraise that online grossery purchase from Bigbasket should be avoided. Bigbasket is fraud .
