Not trustable, I would say!
Bigbasket used to be reliable once upon a time. Not anymore.
The don’t keep the stock status updated. They don’t inform us before placing the order that certain items are sourced from outside so they are going to split the order.They will allow us to order items but after one day you will get a call from them that item is not in stock so they will be able to deliver after 1 day of the scheduled delivery date.
On 2nd delivery date you will again get a call that few items in the second order are not in stock so those will be delivered next day. They will create multiple orders because of the different delivery dates. You will have to pay the delivery charges on the first order which is supposed to be deducted on the second order. But you will be deluged with multiple emails, messages and phone calls informing you of several order creations, cancellations and confirmations so that you are so much fed up that you would rather cancel the order and go and get it from your neighborhood kirana store.
Why so many email? Why cancelling and creating new orders? Why can’t they Improve their software so that to change the delivery slot, orders are modified and not cancelled unless customer no longer wants the order.
Why can’t you be little more transparent? To go hell with these guys. Online grocery - Not much helpful.
