Big basket are completely unreliable.I ordered for 24 pizza bases one day prior.Dely was slated between 0900-1230 the next day.When til 1230 i dint receive stuff ( 24 pizza bases ordered for dinner party), i called them up.
Long wait and then one person responds saying sorry about the delay. Stuff will reach now at 1430.At 1530 i call. Am in SHOCK because they say order is cancelled by me. ME???I ordered for it, paid for it in advance, scheduled a delivery time. How dare they put the cancellation on me.Guests at my house begin to come in and i am still on phone call with Big Basket executives.That call went on for more than 52 minutes.
Finally they agreed that cancellation was done my them.After that i get a sms that their dely person is standing outside my house for 5 mins.I run out. There is no one. The door was never locked. No one rang the bell. My security guy says no one ever came.More lies by them.Finally imagine my plight.
Guests are coming in, there is no pizza bases.I run around in my vehicle to source any kind of pizza bases.Can not collect enough.Had to order from Doominoes. 15 pizzas. Got killed by a bill of 4800.Can anyone help me how to sue Big Basket. How to approach consumer forum? Or is it a criminal case? or civil suit?
