Have been a customer of bigbasket for over a year and a half. Liked the option of conveniently ordering from home/office and not having to stand in queues waiting for billing et. al.
However, of late have been noticing that the quality of veggies delivered has been deteriorating consistently(leafy vegetables are delivered on the brink of spoiling, carrots are dry and stale, the list goes on), not to mention the higher than retail prices(not even market prices) that are being charged. To cap it, the deliveries are not done in the scheduled slots and there is no prompt update either - my delivery scheduled for 10am-1230pm was delivered at 7:15pm and I was informed about this only at 2pm(I had requested the delivery to be done at 6pm).
To top it off bigbasket had no qualms in collecting the delivery fee despite even after delivering late and poor quality groceries. I guess it is time to put on the sneakers and head to the nearby retail store to get some quality and economical groceries when you need them.
