Payment Mode Via Gift Voucher and Mobikwik.
I had selected some groceries and household items to purchase which I saved in cart and proceed for the payment. As the Amount was not a small one hence I had used one of the gift vouchers I received from my office and balance payment was going to do via Mobikwik.
The Gift Voucher value was Rs 1, 500 whereas I was going to make balance payment from Mobikwik Rs 500.
As I reached the payment page the time taken by the page almost more than 1 hour but still didn’t reflect in the end. After 1 hour and 12 mins oops an error occured came on the page.
I was very sad wasn’t understanding what to do now. The money was debited from mobikwik wallet. I immediately contacted bigbasket they said the problem is from mobikwik side. I contacted mobikwik then they said problem is from big basket side. After listening both of them it made me angry. The both customer care executives are saying very softly "Please be assure that if transaction has failed then it will be credited to source account within 7 days".
First of all here is pandemic situation going on, people are losing there jobs and you don’t have care for their money and it’s time value, second if lockdown happened our money gets stuck in the payment gateway which means we neither get groceries nor our own money.
Also one thing that which made me much sad that the gift card used in this transaction has been showing redeemed and I ask with customer care then also same reply that it will get reversed after 7 Days.
The only reason I was making transaction with bigbasket was, because of that gift card. Which is of no use till 7 days.
I have already in past taken services from Big Basket and noted some points which everyone must look for : -
1) Prices : The prices of the product on site is much higher than local shops for pulses and other staples.
2) Minimum Order Value Criteria : If you are going to shop with us with an amount more than Rs 500 or Rs 1000 then only order will be free delivery other wise Rs 50 to Rs 100 Delivery Charges.
3) Availability of Pincode : Sometimes if you put pin code a pop up comes that sorry we doesn’t deliver here.
4) No Return Policy for some items : They usually dont take any items return. Even we have proof of it.
In future I will never ever shop with this online shopping website, even if they gives any free product or services. Very Very much Upset from there services making me feel cry.
