I have a very pathetic experience with bigbasket today. Probably I will never go with bigbasket again. Its a complete fraud service.
I ordered few items of Rs.1178.68 with an offer with payumoney Rs 200 Off+ 5% Extra Savings on order of Rs.1000. Coupon ID: BBPAYUGF200. When I tried to put my order, I found this is not working. So I didn’t continue and cancelled the payment as I can get better discount in other grocery shopping site and their delivery time is also less. But bigbasket kept the order alive and converted it to cash on delivery without even let me know. So to my surprise, after 1.5days, BB representative knocked my door with the delivery. When I said, I have not paid, he looked quite surprised.
I thought as he came, lets pay by cash and get the order. So I asked him to take discounted price by confirming his team. But the other side person was very rude and as soon as I asked why u didn’t contacted me before converting this order to COD, he said, he is going to cancel the order. I received the sms immediately stating order cancelled. Looks like they have much respect for their customer.
I felt really sorry for the delivery boy who pulled two basket up and again took it back for his team mistake and it was raining that time.
