I usually do shopping for all other products to escape the traffic, parking and hassles of taking my baby out. I expect products to be in time, quality and completeness while ordering.
Recently I took upto grocery shopping online. I tried few online shops, to understand its advantage rather visiting super market nearby.
Shopping at your ease, rather going to super market was cool idea. I got my orders in time. However, few issues I faced which you may also face are here.
Incomplete delivery - Few items were missing when it came for delivery. So, I have to still go to nearest shop to pick those up. This is a major disadvantage and kills the purpose itself.
Product Info- When visiting to super market, you can check the complete information of the product and Mfg. date/Exp. Date, which is missing in online shopping and we need to hope the inventory is properly checked.
Frozen products - Frozen items should be delivered within an hour to keep teh quality and taste. What I ordered was completely at normal temp.
Storage of Products - I haven’t seen the stores of these online shops, so I cant comment. But, one of the product I received was stinking(like dead rat smell), it can be oil or any other thing.
