Poor service sums it up.

I ordered two items. One was a traditional sweet ( barfi) , and the other was a bottle of lime pickle. Neither ended up as an experience worth remembering.


Big Basket asks the buyer to select a date and time for receiving the delivery. Each item had different slots as avaialble options. My constraints of being available at home to receive the items did not match well with the available slots. I had to select delivery of the sweet on the same evening and the pickle the next day morning.


Later in the evening, I got a message saying that the sweet was not in stock. Why did the have an item not available in stock up for sale? This is UNETHICAL!


The payment I made for the sweet was not reversed to my bank account. Instead Big Basket has trasnferred it to my account with them. I am now forced to either buy something from them or to forgo the amount. This is CHEATING!
