Bad and ineffective customer service really kills the product. Bigbasket quality of items and catalog is great, but their customer service is a wall and a lying wall at that.
My delivery of 7-9 was finally delivered at 12:30, because the delivery boy on his 4th delivery went to the wrong apartment, could not reach me on phone.
This can be pardoned, but whats not tolerable is that the customer service couldnt have the guts to own up that it would be the last delivery at 12:30. They kept giving me vague timeline for delivery that didnt happen. I had to keep following up. 7-9 was chosen for a specific reason! Bigbasket is great for its products and UI, so I like it. However the service and support sucks big time.
