I made my first order with bigbasket.com and am happy with the delivery. though one or two things were not as I called for, I returned them and deducted the money. The fruits and vegetables were fresh and decently packed and prices were certainly less than what retailers charge.
I would like the company to add few things:
If someone has to order only fruits and vegetables, the total price won’t exceed 1000 rs. Thus the free delivery is of no use in this case and it’s not easy to always make an order which is above 1000rs which eventually decreases the frequency of visiting the website. So, if they can reduce the free delivery criteria or do something else, then people will buy stuff on regular basis.
Whenever the person comes for delivery, he should ask the customer about the trays given with the previous delivery and should give some freebie if the customer retains the plastic trays and give them back so that the trays can be re-used and plastic is not dumped.
Including more items used in a household other than kitchen and bringing more options with clear description added.
other than this, I am happy and would like to give it a 2nd try.
