I decided to try Bigbasket services and was left very disappointed.
My order(BMFO-250945-120513) was placed for delivery on Monday-13thMay
There are basically 2 critical critirias for their service: Deliver the items correctly & deliver them within the delivery lot. Bigbasket failed on both counts!
I had scheduled delivery slot of 7.30-10.00 pm while the goods reached us at 11.15 pm!(without any prior intimation that delivery is getting late) . We had to cancel our plans for the evening because your poor service.
Besides delivering at the wrong time, not all items were delivered!(again no one bothered to put a small email or even a sms informing us that few items will not be delivered? To further show how un-organised the services are, one item was delivered but not included in the invoice!. I still paid for the item even though the invoice had shown that item also as un-delivered?
SO, NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL, IN FACT THE LIST OF ITEMS ORDERED WERE BASIC OFF THE SHELF GOODS, NOT EVEN PERISHABLE ITEMS.
UPDATE: Big-basket Team contacted me and was apologetic about and gave 10% refund.
However, Despite assurances, AGAIN ORDER HAS BEEN DELIVERED AT WRONG TIME SLOT!
I had booked order no. BMO-270113-270513 for 7.30-10 pm Slot. However order was delivered at 4.30 pm? and that again without prior intimation!
How long can customers trust you if you choose to be consistently poor in service?
