Horrible in maintaining customer relationship

I have been regularly ordering my grocery from big basket and had spent around 8 to 10k in three months. Today my apartment lift was not working and I asked their delivery boy to use other block lift and cross via stairs and come to my block as I live on top floor.


This morning the same solution has been used my our water delivery guy who brought 4 cans of water for all four families on the floor.


but from big basked I had very harassing response, their delivery boy, their team lead, their manager all kept calling and saying they cannot deliver us as we do not even have basic amenities. In last three months when lift was functioning they were fine but for the first time when they had to use other lift, they created huge issue and in the end, I had to tell them to cancel the order.


Delivery at doorsteps. really? is this what you call delivery at doorstep. that you cant use other lift and walk 15 meters to deliver but harass customer by saying that they dont have basic amenities.
