I recently made a first purchase at bigbasket.com. Everything went off smooth and till the decided to deliver. Some of the products quantity was changed to fit the Invoice value that too without taking my consent or intimating me. They couldn’t deliver one of the product and they unilaterally decided to credit my account with the difference money. I was shocked at the attitude. It is like "Take it as we have given" and since you have already paid in advance we dont care anymore. Now to redeem the amount of Rs. 100/- which is credit to me, they should have ideally credited back to my account but instead decided to give me a credit note.
This means I will now have to go online and shop at their site and place an order for minimum 1000/- for a free delivery or pay the delivery charges. Please avoid this site at all cost as it is a nice way to compel people to keep coming to the website. to make purchase.
