When doing a review of the movie rental sites for a school project I came across bigflix.
My 2 pence.
Name is a bit confusing here; went with what the website was redirecting me to. Entry is a bit slow through some landing page which was confusing although it looks good. I chose the rental option and it took me to a subdomain - rental.bigflix.com. It took me to a page filtered with hindi language; I guess they r targetting those users.
I checked the page 2 times in a week, and followed it the next week. The movies changed once which means they update weekly.
The site navigation is ok. They use incorrect terms such as sort when they are actually filtering the results.
The site is to the point for someone renting movies. I could find decent english movies; dunno about other languages as my knowledge is limited.
I saw a dancing control called my queue which is quite funny and irritating. They could do away with it.
Overall I would say its an ok site. Comparing to international sites still someway to go. Local rivals moviemart sucks bigtime, seventymm is ok and has a lot of options which had me confused but is neat and a bit fast.
