Well..........well.........well........I am back after a long break to write another review. This time its about Indian Television’s most touted so called reality show.........BIGG BOSS. The show is yet to be aired, but the promos are their on all print and electronic media. The concept is to make 13 well known celebrities live together with each other for 3 months under one roof. In this time span, they will have no access to any means of communicating with the outside world. Further , their movements and even the minutest details of their behaviour would be captured and monitored by 28 cameras installed all over the place. The worst part is , that the poor celebrities are not even aware of these spying cameras in the house. They don’t even know that lakhs of viewers would be peeping into their personal lives daily, which I think is really unethical.
I don’t have much to say……….except that though viewers are definitely tired of the daily soaps flooded with saas-bahu melodramas , but in their attempt to be different , producers are overlooking the moral and ethical guidelines. Each one of us have our own private lives………and making it public in the name of a reality show…..entertainment……….or whatever you can call it simply makes no sense. It only shows the dearth of novel and clean entertainment ideas with the small screen people………which unfortunately is the case with our bollywood as well. I don’t know how many of you would agree with me , but that’s what I feel.
