I have read reviews on different websites and after watching the show for about 25 days, here is my review.
My reviews will also include each and every character one by one, but before that, I would prefer to discuss the overall situation here.
It is a reality show, let it be the same way. Let the celebrities know that they are not suppose to try and create controversies in order to increase the TRP. There have been several incidents where you can easily see that people are trying to behave in a particular manner thinking that if this is shown on TV, the TRP will increase.
Increasing TRP is not their job. It is the job for the organizers and the staff behind the camera.
What Kamal khan did was not acceptable by any standards. People say he is the one who increased the TRPs but overall he just behaved like a Kalank to India.
Almost everyone, even the ladies are using bad words. Is this what we really want to see?
Alright. The house. Very nicely decorated and planned. However, I seriously feel that it requires more space.
The tasks they are doing are literally becoming funny. Even my 10 year old cousin said - "this is childish" when everyone was singing Ek Doosre se, karte hain pyar hum.
When talking about the talent task - I am not an artist, not a talented person, but could have done better than many of those celebrities. What they did was totally rubbish. hardly one or two were worth clapping(I am being generous). And these are the celebrities of their own field and were told to do something that they are comfortable with.
Now lets take everyone, one by one. I will be more interested in discussing what would have been the idea for selecting these people rather than talking about what they are doing in the house.
Kamaal Khan - I will not discuss about him. He does not deserve any of my words. he is gone and so, u dont have to know anything about him. But if u r desperate, watch the videos of Deshdrohi(youtube) and u will know why I said he does not deserve any comment.
Vindu - Son of Dara Singh. Talks a lot(this is what everyone complains about him). Uses bad words very very often. his voice is not as clear as required and so, it becomes irritating sometimes. He is good at heart though(according to me).
Ismail Darbaar - Remember him? Music director of hum Dil de Chuke Sanam. All I would say is, just put his statue over there and you will not miss him. A useless selection. May be the organizers were looking for a matured and balanced male person but this gentleman got his hand fractured in playing ball. What a matured selection!
Poonam Dhillon - Not that I like her. but she is one of those who behaves very naturally. She has style, dignity and maturity. She is really the ideal selection if you want the show to be seen by a family. however, there are many people using bad and unacceptable words.
Shamita - She is nice, good looking and natural at times. Yes she cried and complained about food, but I wish that is what she felt and she did. She did not act here. Moreover, after taking Shilpa’s sister in the show is definitely a nice selection.
Tenaaz - Charming and funny but talks a lot. The idea may be of addind a bubbly character. And she is doing it. Sometimes overdoing it.
Bakhtiyar - Husband and wife together will surely help them in the game to an extent but there will be problems in their own life after the game. I surely cannot figure out what can be the idea of adding a couple here in the show. however, he is the only good looking male in the house. Has broken Imraan Hashmi’s record for kissing by now.
Raju - People complain that he jsut does comedy and nothing else. But what else can he do there? Moreover, that has been his job to make sure that all the tense moments are lightened up. And he is doing that.
Rohit - The person who tries to make friends with everyone. But people will know that behind their back he is talking something else. I dont know why he is selected as not many people know him.
Aditi - The model and Mrs. India. A very quiet personality.
Sherlyn Chopra - Again a a bad move. Took a glamour girl thinking that she will provide the oomph factor. But she is not even good looking in the show. No wonder why she left today.
Claudia is good and intelligent.
Jaya Sawant - With due respect to her, I would like to mention that shows like big boss are for celebrities. We get to see their ego and their way of behaving. Each and every celebrity has worked hard to reach at that level. Being a relative of a controversial celebrity is not an achievement. I had no problems with the way she was staying in the house but she herself would be low on confidence. Bad selection and got the answer in the first week.AB - AB has done a great job. teaching the lessons of lives by taking the examples of the house mates is not easy(even if his speech is written by others). Though he shows up twice a week, he still brings interesting thoughts and talks.
Overall, it was an OK selection. However, this time it is not just the young people, the elder people are also involved. Plus, AB, so there may be people like me who would not rate this show high, but the show will definitely find a proper TRP.
The problem is, there is not a single male person who is good looking. Bakhtiyar is, but his wife is there with him. I do not care for the good looking male, but yes, the show needs someone like that.
