I rented a designated windows server from bigrock on 15 Oct 2018 for my business. I started installing business critical software(billing software for hotels & restaurants) on the server starting 8th Nov 2018.
within a couple of days, I was unable to access the server due to some complications. Bigrock took 4+ days to sort out the issue even after every 2 hrs follow up( ticker no: #VHD-753-88401). This resulted in couple of lakhs of loss on my billing.
After the issue got resolved within 6 days again I was unable to access the server. I raised a ticket with bigrock & the customer call center told me that its a " system update" which will take about 2 hrs max to finish. Its about 32 Hrs now & still the server is not accessible. They may be good on web hosting, but extremely incompetent when it comes to hosting cloud servers.
Never ever try to use bigrock if your are planing to use a VM on the cloud for your business. Better to pay few thousands more with Amazon / google / azure where u have assured SLA on the downtime.
