I placed a cash on delivery order for a pair of shoes, before the purchase I confirmed from them about availability of the item and proceeded to buy on their affirmation on 16/08/10 order no. BSB145734 and price Rs 831/- . I received the confirmation mail from them and was asked to wait for 4 business days for the delivery and so the wait began, on the fourth day when I didn’t get the item I decided to check with them and was surprised to know that they had canceled the order without any reason and intimation and when I pressed the customer care executive to let me talk to their manager she first refused and LIED that they did call me to con firm the order and I didn’t respond but when I didn’t budge she connected after a lot of persuasion.
The manager was in a denial mode right from the word go and kept on saying that the lot I had ordered for was defective and so was sent back to the vendor (I had already confirmed at the time of purchase that the stock was fresh) and that I can place an order later on but when I checked the site again the price of the same pair had shot to Rs1311/- . I would suggest everybody to think twice before placing an order especially if you are paying online because these people may easily con you of your money and plainly deny any of their fault.
I have three suggestions for you - 1) Never pay them online, I have heard of horror stories of people getting stuck after the payment 2) Always check with them about the availability of the shoe and your size even if their site shows it is (hardly of any use actually ....but still in case..) 3) Keep on inquiring them about the status of your purchase as they can cancel anytime with the excuse that you didn’t confirm the order or the stock was defective. I am an avid e buyer but would never ever shop from Bigshoebazaar . What cheats !!!!!
