You can be the best looking pub, that plays the best music and has the best DJ and the best ambience, but I think they are forgetting the bigger picture or objective of why one goes to a pub.
Its for the experience, its for the pleasant memory of sharing a drink with a friend and hopefully a memory that will become an anecdote for future pub congregations!
However as the previous two reviews have mentioned, the thick skinned and poorly trained staff have absolutely no idea as to how to elevate the experience of a pub goer or for that matter just avoid spoiling the mood of the pub goer.
The staff there are definitely prejudiced and a blatant about giving preferential treatment to certain "elite" customers and be extremely rude to us ordinary folks.
I am still surprised how people still swallow all this non-sense and continue to frequent this pub. I am paying for a service and not just the drink or the ambience and I dont think I am getting a pennys worth on this.
If you are a discerning customer who wants full fledged service for the money that you pay and more importantly have a pub experience that you can truly enjoy, then Bikes and Barrels is definitely not the place to be.
