Birdman or(The Unexpexted VIrtue Of Ignorance) is not some superhero movie as the name might compel you to think, it is rather a black comedy film.
The movie has an amazing cast including Michael Keaton as Riggan Thomson, Edward Norton as Mike Shiner, Emma Stone as Samantha Thomson, and Zack Galifianakis as Jake and they are the reason for the movie’s wide success.
Riggan is a washed-up superhero famous for his iconic superhero movie. This movie is an amazing portrayal of how he fights his ego and attempts to recover his family.
The director Alejandro Gonzalez has done a terrific job and was rightly awarded the Oscar for The Best Director.
The end of the movie is what some people couldn’t digest.
Well I don’t want to reveal what happens at the end, because it would limit your perception. All I can say is, it is an excellent movie by the acting standards and the quality of direction. You must watch it.
