Among all the famous cake shops, Birdy’s was open at kandivali west and I visited it once. Actually my sister bought a cake as well yesteryear on my birthday (erm, which I didn’t like at all.)
This is a small joint. Extremely small. A person can stand in front of the counter and choose his beverage. Other person cannot pass. The lighting is authentic with a good choice of music. The yellow hue bulbs lighten the place to make it look cozy.
That cake which I talked about was tasteless. I didn’t like it at all. It had a very faint pink syrup or something topped with some cherries and all. That wasn’t much sweet. Local bakeries bake better cakes than that. The Birdy’s is a parcel only joint so no sit & eat thing here. Not a’must’ visit at all.
