Bisleri...is one of the pioneering messiah’s of purity in India. From saving foreign tourists from ’impure’ water to saving promiscuous Generation Y from hazards of ’unsafe’ sex, oops water...Bisleri has come a long way. Compelled to change its priorities from quenching thirst to wrestling Sumo wrestlers and/ or Coke’s Kinley, Bisleri remains my favorite mineral water. Bottled water for me, and I am sure for millions of Indians continues to be Bisleri...like the generic Colgate for toothpaste.
Bisleri is essentially a generic brand name in India. It has the virtues of a strong brand name, reliable customer base and consistent quality. Although MNC brands are giving it a run for its money...I am sure its Customer’s won’t let it down.
