I was wondering as to what the ’’b&W Mode’’ has got to do in the latest hi-tech digital cameras. It was until I saw the pictures taken in that mode. I was trying out different cameras in the local store as I am looking for one. The salesman showed me the camera which was around 600£s odd and had B&W mode. My first question was, why will I go for B&W mode with this hi-tech camera which is able to show the finest colour variations? To my question, he simply showed me a picture taken in that mode. I was impressed. There was something that looked bad in the colour picture with the same contents. This could be because, sometimes we like something but dont like the original colours. With black and white mode, we can simply skip what we dont like keeping the best of our interest!
