Being a Subash Ghai fan, I decided to watch this movie despite negative reports from friends, press etc. It has been shot beautifully, in Chandni Chowk, with powerful performances from Anil Kapoor, Sinha and the Lady who acts as Anil Kapoor’s wife.
One should not forget to mention the Old Poet, who keeps repeating Yeh Hindustan Hai, Yeh Hindustan hai.
It very clearly shows the way of our local hooligans, who are ever ready to flame the emotions of the foolish public in the name of Religion & make a living out of it.
There are infact many many politicians who accept bribe to favour or twist the rules just for a few bucks. The slap on the face of the local MLA from Anil Kapoor’s wife should happen in real life with the politicians and a day should come, when should be held responsible and accountable.
The music is above average and almost every one has done justice to his role. It very clearly shows to prove that movies can be made without much extravagance and big star cast.
And the message it conveys to people is excellent. Even a so called Terrorist has a heart and some or the other day he will realise that he has been used by ruthless Politicians to lead a good and luxurious life.
One question to our people. Even the Terrorist changes his heart after realising the folly of trying to become a Terrorist. Will our people ever change or realise what these Politicians have made our lovely country in the name of Reservations and Religion.
Become a Human Being first. Every thing will change. That means, Compassion, tolerance, brotherlihood and most importantly Human Integration.
