I had lot of expectations from this movie because I love Bhashali’s works (though I admit that I hated Devdas). But in recent years I have most of the time been disappointed from every movie that I had expected something from(recently from Raincoat). I was scared this time too.
But, when I saw the movie I was so pleasantly surprised, it was much beyond my expectations. The movie was much beyond anything I expected from any Hindi filmmaker.
The movie is world class not just in technical aspect but in content, story treatment, performances......
Black has made me look inwards as to how we treat handicapped people- do we really treat them like normal people - no! most of the time we pity them. I think I have changed after seeing this movie and what can be better than this!!
Black has some wonderful performances from Ayesha, Rani and Amitabh.
