A review speaking all about PERSONAL TOUCH !

Right from the childhood I was taught about two things. The people associated in my life taught me the tricks of emerging stronger in the forthcoming dynamic world and being rational in all the times.

The first and foremost thing that they preached me was all about personalising surrounding and associated things. This personalising assumed significance as this process involves changing the things to your senses while you remain to be rational at all the times. Going ahead, these personalised things appear to be lucid to the other rational fellows too making their understanding easy.

The second thing that they taught me pertained to exceling in your own field by hard work to help yourself and society while you earn self respect as well as respect of others associated with you. As they say lakshya to humen pana hai !

It wasn’t a training to be selfish or empowering the fellow guys. This was all about ultimately changing the surrounding conditions to suit you and your fellows while you assume the innovator or initiator role.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The character of Rani Mukherjee (Michelle) reminded me of the first thing that was taught to me in my life i.e Changing surroundings to suit yourself !

Whereas character of Amitabh Bachchan made my belief stronger in exceling in all the conditions to achieve your aim by facilitating others life too.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think the latest offering of Sanjay Leela Bhansali i.e. ’’BLACK’’ is all about personal touch....how ? U have already read something on it...read the remaining now on....

Personal touch (PT)of a Director : Right from Khamoshi, Sanjay has made his distinct mark in the bollywood. Right from choosing the story of a singing diva belonging to deaf parents upto remake of Devdas, SLB has been known to show his   craftsmanship in his every movie.

A radical transformation from the rich sets of Devdas to a sober bunglow in Simla shown in Black, Sanjay makes his personal touch visible through out this movie. If the movie is all about the blind n deaf child and her old teacher, then its useless to show the awefully atrocious sets flaunting richness all around as well as the lead pair singing the songs in Alps.

This PT is visible when he stayed away from including any song in the movie and showing it distinctively how a blind and deaf woman can see dreams ? ’’Aankhen sapne nahi dekhati, man sapne dekhta hai. Mai dekh nahi sakti lekin mein sapne dekhti hoon. Mera sapna hai ki mein ek din graduate banoon ! ’’. We realise at this point the thing taught to me to make the personalised things lucid to all. Michelle, we all know how you dream !

Personal touch of the music director : When the herion of ur movie can’t speak and the story revolves around her teacher who is the fellow known in the industry for his profound sound, the music has to be personalised. Personalised to suit the ocasion, to suit the tempo of the movie. To be specific, as gripping and as intense of the movie.

Personal touch of Rani Mukherjee : A completely non-glamorous role where you are not supposed to flaunt your loving and typically loved voice. This is quite contrary to the current trend of flaunting anything and everything that u have to show and people are willing to show !

Portaying a girl who can’t speak and can’t see, but has got an excellent courage to learn and fight against the odd things in life. The scene where she enacts the song sung in the party leaves me wondering about Rani’s tremendous acting capabilities.

Personal Touch of Amitabh Bachchan : he is always considered to be the Powerhouse of Indian cinema. Emerging from the action oriented movie, AB started portaying something suiting his age and potential. The character of Debraj portayed in this film needless to say shows a lot of efforts taken by him for making the real Debraj happen.

The use of 6 feet khambe jaisa body, the profound voice, bodily movements, facial expressions changing with every emotion getting depicted in the movie makes him more adorable.

Personal Touch of Zuludancing : After watching the movie, I said the movie to be the Best movie ever made in the bollywood. Sanjay has presented a nice package making me wonder why the little kid behaves violently, making me pray that the little kid reacts to what Debraj teaches her, making me shocked to see the poor kid in the water, making me astonished to see the little kid learning all taught by her teacher...a series of beautifully and logically bound events involved me emotionally in the film.

Emotions ! They reached the peak when Rani ’’sung’’ in the party making me to raise a toast for efforts of Debraj as well as perseverance of Michelle.

The next time, they slowly touched the pinnacle when the Alzheimer’s disease hits Debraj and he can’t recognise Michell who is now grown old and firm on her feet in life...but misses Debraj.... The efforts now flow from the other side and make Debraj remember his beloved Michelle !

Its raining out...the colours still remain black and white.

The personal touch of Zuludancing .... afterthoughts !

I seen the magic is not with Debraj or Michelle, the magic is with Sanjay Leela Bhansali who scripted the scenes so magically involving ourselves to the disabled kid who is hated by her father and is loved immensely by the mother dear. Entry of a teacher who is little cynical, but that huge baggage of real AB wanting us to bring the magic in Michell’s life seems typical to the indian moviegoer psyche.

The Indian cinegoer never wishes to turn the things awry in the movie...he sympathises with disabled, looks to the movies for making the unexpected to happen in life ... I think this is what is picturised in the movie. All starts well that end s well too.....in all movies... in every movie ! In BLACK too !

The movies doesn’t matter ! What ultimately matters is the Personal Touch !
