While shopping in the Total Mall, Old Airport Road, Bangalore, I came across some advertisement handouts for this Discotheque. When I looked up the internet to check for this place, I only came across the information that this place opened on the 09-Jan-10. I, along with my wife, decided to check this place out and I am glad we did.
We were informed that every Saturday night (from 9.00 pm) is a special DJ night and the dance floor is exciting. Hence we ensured we make it on Saturday. I am not a typical discotheque goer. I reached here as early as 8.30 pm.
We were in for a surprise as we were the first ones in. The interior was beautiful. Very innovative usage of the black and white colors that set in the first impressions right. The sitting arrangement is also very nice such that you always find the right kind of place to suit your mood. Be it the circular sofa’s for your college gang, or typical table/ chair arrangements or hop over the tall seats at the bar counter.
What I liked about this place is that:
The place is really spacious and really smart interiors. I thought the place is lighted just correctly. But some might disagree. The food was really nice. I loved the Chinese fried rice. Subtle and delicious taste. The cutlery and plates are a darling. Wonderful dining and drinking sets. You don’t have to bother about the parking.
But it is also true that:
The place is new and so are the waiters. The novice attitude shows up. They are keen to help, yet end up messing with either opening the beers or serving the food. But I think this only is a matter of time before they get it right. I did not really like the music. I thought the DJ wasn’ really playing it to the crowds mood. But he was playing well to his pre-plans.
Bottomline: I think this is an interesting place that’s soon be a much more crowdy place very soon. Check it out earlier now, when it is much less crowdy.
