This is with reference to a BB Bold 4 (IMEI no – 359684047784549) I purchased mid month of Oct 12 from Studio Cell – 1002, Express Avenue, Chennai. The phone has been creating problems from the 2nd week of purchase. One of the keypad buttons (“L” button) wouldn’t work at all. I have got that checked once with the BB dealer wherein he had reset something and it worked fine for some time.
Now this problem has cropped up again and I have been living with this for a week as I was travelling. I had a hard time sending my mails because I had to press the button with all the strength I had in my body. It really hurt me to hurt my new phone this way but I had no other option as I was traveling. When I took it for a check again (from my very busy schedule) to the dealer, he says I need to give it for service which would min take 20 days!!! Now I find it really ridiculous!!
A really expensive phone which goes wrong in 2.5 months!!! I request you to refund my money as I am no more interested in owning a phone which keeps giving me problem every time. Now I think I would settle down with an iphone or a Samsung. Also I have better things to do then go to the BB shop every now and then whenever I am back in town. And with the kind of job I have which keeps me on the move, I have other things to handle on priority.
Problems in my phone:
Keypad button not working, as mentioned above already.
Hands free – one of the port (I think the right port) stopped working for 2 continuous day. I had immediately called up the dealer to complain about this. He asked me to bring it along with the phone.
Hangs frequently. I have to keep staring at the phone and wait when this waiting symbol goes off.
Toll free no – yesterday I called your toll free no from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm continuously. There were rings but no response!!!! I believe it is a 24 hrs toll free no!!! infact just as I write this mail, I had tried up but in vain (1800 425 3720).
I am also not comfortable in letting my personal and official information being handled this way every now and then when my phone goes for a service. I request for a refund or replace the handset since I am under warranty.
Expect a reply soon as I am unable to reach and register a complaint via ur toll free no.
